What is EDA Child Care?
EDA Child Care is a small, relationship-focused daycare and preschool program located within Evergreen Dance Academy in East Vancouver. Our childcare program is designed for children ages 2.5–6 years old and combines structured routines, play-based learning, movement, outdoor play, and social-emotional development in a calm and engaging environment.
Our goal is to create a safe and welcoming space where children can learn, move, explore, and build confidence while preparing for future school success.
EDA Child Care is licensed through the Washington State Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) and operates during weekday daytime hours only. It's a welcoming choice for Vancouver and Fisher's Landing families looking for quality daycare or preschool near them.
Program hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
Ages served: 2.5 to 6 years old (children must be fully toilet trained).
Class size: intentionally small — a maximum of 15 children — so every child receives warm, individual attention. Now enrolling; spaces are limited.
Each day balances gentle structure with plenty of play: circle time and group activities, learning centers and hands-on exploration, art and sensory activities, outdoor play and neighborhood park visits, indoor movement and gross-motor activities, plus rest/quiet time and social-emotional learning.
Families provide labeled meals, snacks, and water bottles each day. We keep emergency pre-packaged food items on hand, and the day includes structured lunch, snack, and rest periods.
Monthly tuition: $1,550. Enrollment deposit: $250 (applied to your first month).
