Kacey started off on a performing tumbling team at the age of 5 and transitioned to a traditional gymnastics facility where she switched from artistic to rhythmic gymnastics becoming state and regional champion 5 consecutive years in a row, qualified and placed in top 10-15 at the junior Olympics, achieved elite status (placing top 12 in the nation) and 9th OA, her first year at the US National Championships. Her second year she achieved US national team ranking of 5th OA. After gymnastics she began dancing,  (beyond the ballet training required for gymnastics) branching into other styles/ genres on a performing company called Moveo. She is currently a working performing artist for Duo Kinetix, performing an acrobatic duo in the art of balance across the US for multiple types of events. 

She has received coach of the year award multiple years in rhythmic gymnastics, coached national team members, and was an accredited judge in the sport. She has had multiple top and Overall and National placements for groups, solos, duos and trios in Acro dance. She has spent the last 17+ years building her one of a kind Acro and stretch and strength training programs to take kids safely to the next level of ability. She continues to educate herself and learn about anatomy/kinesiology, Hypermobility, and how to access movement and pinpoint weaknesses and compensations for better health and performance of the dancers she works with. She is certified in the following:

She has also had instruction in contortion and acrobatic partnering from former Cirque Du Soleil Artists Carmita Lorador, Alixa Slobodyan and Meaghan Wegg, and EDS Contortion specialist and agent Jasmine Straga. 

Rikkia Pereira

Making her way from New York City, Rikkia Pereira formatively received training in Ballet, Horton Modern, Jazz, and West African Dance from various studios and schools. Rikkia went on to pursue studies in Dance and Education at Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts. There, she was introduced to Improvisation, studied choreography and Contemporary dance with Deborah Goffe, implemented projects focused on engaging the voices of young people through dance, and produced her own work. Post grad, Rikkia taught dance in after school programs, participated in the Urban Bush Women’s Summer Leadership Institute, and pursued Hip Hop training and coaching with Robin Dunn. Presently, Rikkia is dancing with Rejoice! Diaspora Dance Theater in Portland, Oregon and now teaching at Evergreen Dance Academy in Vancouver, Washington. Rikkia strongly believes in the power of dance, as it has served as a site for her self actualization and gifted her with the tools to be an empowered, embodied person in everything she does.

Stephanie Ryder

Stephanie Ryder

Stephanie is a passionate ballet instructor with a diverse background in dance, including jazz, hip hop, contemporary, tap, acro, and gymnastics. While skilled in many styles, ballet has always been her true love, especially dancing on pointe. She brings her personal experience and joy for the art into her teaching, having choreographed her own pointe solos and assisting with ballet classes for young children. In addition to dance, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her son, engaging in activities like hiking, surfing, and snowboarding, which inspire her sense of balance, strength, and grace in dance.
